make 制作;eat 吃;have 吃,喝;buy 買(mǎi)。
or 或者,表示選擇;and 和,表示連接;but 但是,表示轉(zhuǎn)折;so因此,表示因果。
after在…之后;before 在… 故選A。
get off 下車(chē);get on 上車(chē);come up with 追上,趕上;stop 停止。
most 大多數(shù),大部分;much 很多,修飾不可數(shù)名詞;more 更多的,是一個(gè)比較級(jí);quite相當(dāng),很,是一個(gè)副詞,修飾形容詞。
for 因?yàn),為了;no 沒(méi)有,是一個(gè)形容詞,修飾名詞;without 介詞,沒(méi)有;instead副詞,代替。
when 什么時(shí)候;what 什么;why 為什么;where在哪里。

Minoru Yamasaki was a well-known American architect (建筑師). He was born in 1912 in Seattle, Washington. Minoru went to college to study architecture. Every summer he worked in a fish factory to help pay for college. He slept in a room with 100 other men.
Yamasaki sometimes dreamed about his work. Once he woke up at three o’clock in the morning. He remembered a building that was in his dream. He got up and started to draw.
Yamasaki was different from other architects. His buildings give people a feeling of peace and happiness. Many of his designs have pools of water, flowers, and windows on the roof to let in light. He wanted to give them a place away from the busy ways of modern life.
Yamasaki worked for several companies. But his success began when he started his own company. In 1956, he won the Architect’s First Honor Award for his design of an airport in St. Louis, Missouri. The usual time spent on a computer in a week was about twelve hours, with       user about thirty-two hours, and the lowest user only five hours.
All the children said they usually used computers      . Fourteen children told us they did some word processing Only three people said they were learning to make computer programmes and nobody looked up databases(數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)). None of them used computers for any      use.
The results show that computer use is quite high among 14~18 year old. They also show quite clearly that computers      by most young people as little more than game machines.
