Bill Gates, the richest person of he world, is head of a software company（微軟公司）, Microsoft. Bill was born in 1955, and he wrote his first software at high school（高中）. When he was a student at Harvard University（哈佛大學(xué)）, he wanted to start his own company, so he left the university. After many years of hard work, Gates became the richest person in the world in 1998.

　　When Bill was in high school, his high school friend Paul Allen thought that the computer in the school was very slow. So they wanted to make it work faster.
