注意:1.每處錯誤及其修改均僅限一詞;

I like riding my bike.Though it is not very new,but it is my best friend.I find very convenient to go anywhere with a bike.Riding gives me not only exercises but also pleasure.I use my bike most in summer when the weather is warm and dry.It can be very unpleasant in winter that it is cold and wind is blowing heavily. It can also be very dangerously.Of course I will be very careful in my bike.In fact, accidents are not the only problem. One day I went to school and come back to find the front wheel was missed.Worse still,it was the long walk to the repairer's shop.

去掉but

2.find后加上it

3.exercises—exercise

4.most—mostly

5.that—when/because

6.dangerously—dangerous

7.in—on

8.come—came

9.missed—missing

10.the long—a long

2.句意:我發(fā)現(xiàn)騎自行車到一個地方很方便,這里find后缺少一個賓語,可以用形式賓語it代替后面的不定式“to go anywhere with a bike”,故在find后加上it.

7.on the bike在自行車上,固定搭配,故將in改為on.

8.根據(jù)原文中“One day I went to school and come back to find the front wheel was missed.”and要連接兩個并列的動詞形式,因?yàn)?/span>and前是動詞的過去時,所以come也要用過去時,故將come改為came.

Twenty years ago, I drove a taxi for a living. One night I went to pick up a passenger at 2:30 a. m. When I arrived to collect, I found the building was dark except for a single light in a ground floor window.
I walked to the door and knocked, "Just a minute," answered a weak, elderly voice.
After a long time, the door opened. A small woman in her eighties stood before me. By her side was a small suitcase.
I took the suitcase to the car, and then returned to help the woman. She took my arm and we walked slowly towards the car.
She kept thanking me for my kindness. "It's nothing," I told her. "I just try to treat my passengers the way I would want my mother treated."
"Oh, you're such a good man." She said. When we got into the taxi, she gave me an address, and then asked, "Could you drive through downtown?"
"It's not the shortest way," I answered quickly.
"Oh, I'm in no hurry," she said. "I'm on my way to a hospice (臨終醫(yī)院). I don't have any family left. The doctor says I don't have very long."
I quietly reached over and shut off the meter (計價器). For the next two hours, we drove through the city. She showed me the building where she had once worked, the neighborhood where she had lived, and the furniture shop that had once been a ballroom where she had gone dancing as a girl.
Sometimes she'd ask me to slow down in front of a particular building and would sit staring into the darkness, saying nothing.
At dawn, she suddenly said, "I'm tired. Let's go now." We drove in silence according to the address she had given me.
"How much do I owe you?" she asked.
"Nothing." I said.
"You have to make a living," she answered. "Oh, there are other passengers," I answered. She said thanks to me, but she looked so sad.

Clara Barton, born on Christmas in 1821, is widely known as one of the most honored women in American history. She began teaching school when most teachers were men at that time. Later, she became one of the first women ever to be employed by the government.
Her career in helping the sick began when her brother David became her first patient. He fell down from the roof of a house when Clara was just 11 years old. She stayed by his side and looked after him for three years, learning how to give him all his medicines.
When the Civil War began in 1861, she immediately recognized that the poorly equipped soldiers needed help. Instead of waiting for others to step in, Clara collected necessary things on her own, asked the public for donations and learned how to store and distribute them to soldiers. She also read to the soldiers and wrote letters for them.
After the Battle of Cedar Mountain in northern Virginia in 1862, Clara arrived at a field hospital at midnight with a vehicle full of supplies. A doctor named Paul Smith at that hospital would later write, "I thought heaven had sent out an angel that night -- her assistance arrived at exactly the right time."
In 1869, Clara went to Europe and learned about the International Committee of the Red Cross. Upon her return to the United States, she successfully founded the American Red Cross. She led the organization for the next 23 years. Her last field mission(使命) as president of the American Red Cross was to help the victims of the 1900 Galveston hurricane. She did not retire (退休) from the American Red Cross until she was 83. True to her nature, Clara always went to where the need was the greatest.
Today, the American Red Cross continues the mission Clara started more than 100 years ago. With the help of thousands of volunteers, the American Red Cross provides relief to victims of disasters, as well as helps people prevent, prepare for and respond to all sorts of emergencies.

How do you pay for things in a shop? Perhaps you like the touchable reliability of hard cash? Maybe the financial flexibility of a credit card suits you better? Or perhaps you prefer the simple convenience of a smartphone?

Whatever you use today, experts believe all these methods could soon become outdated. Instead, we will use our bodies: our eyes, our fingerprints, even our mere presence in the store. In fact it's happening already. Amazon are trialing stores which have no checkouts, where technology tracks the items you've taken from the shelves and deducts(扣除) the total from your account when you leave the shop.

French supermarket Monoprix takes a different path: you choose your groceries and leave them with a human cashier. You then leave the shop while the cashier adds up your bill, charges your account, and organizes delivery to your home.

Amir, CEO of Barclaycard predicts that such new developments mean the end of the plastic credit card. Instead, wearable items such as rings, necklaces and key chains will carry chips(芯片) that allow shoppers to shop, going between the web, an app or in store.

And while all the above payment methods are supported by accounts held in traditional currencies, let's not forget the rise of alternatives such as Litecoin. Virtual(虛擬) currencies can rise in value very quickly. One such possibility is explored in the movie In Time. It imagines a futuristic society in which the currency is time itself, where people trade the amount of time they have left to live.

Or perhaps we'd do better to wind back the clock to the simpler financial world of the equal exchange economy. While the term recalls images of bags of grain and herds of sheep being exchanged in ancient times, there are signs that are making a comeback in today's world of modern technology. Maybe the only thing we know for certain is that money will keep updating.

1Which of the following statements is TRUE?

A. Payment is done by the cashiers at Amazon.

B. All the methods of payment have become outdated.

C. Shopping at Monoprix is convenient for customers.

D. Customers can leave their credit cards at Monoprix.

2What might replace the credit cards in the future according to Amir?

A. Smartphones. B. Wearable items.

C. Virtual currencies. D. Fingerprints.

3What is used as a currency in the movie In Time?

A. Litecoin. B. Human life.

C. Time. D. Bags of grain.

4Which is the best title for the passage?

A. The Rise of Virtual Currencies. B. The History of Money.

C. The Ending if Credit Cards. D. The Changing Nature of Money.
