       Confidence: you’ve either got it or you haven’t, right? Wrong. Most people learn confidence as they go through life.

       Even if you are shaking like a leaf on the inside, you’ll make a lasting impression if you can come across as confident. Here are some confidence-building tips.

       Fake(假裝) it! If you can pretend that you feel confident when you don’t and keep on doing so, your fake confidence will soon turn into real confidence. It only takes a few repetitions of an activity for it to become a habit―so get in the habit of         .

       Think it. For an instant encouragement to yourself-esteem (自尊心), recall three things that give you positive emotions. It could be a great compliment somebody paid you, a special time when you felt happy and popular, or when you really excelled (勝過別人) at something. Bringing them to mind will help you to feel good instantly―and when you feel good, you have greater confidence.

       Focus it. Difficult situations, such as interviews or new jobs, can make you feel shy. If you’re feeling anxious about yourself, stop thinking about yourself and focus on something else. It could be that you focus on something normal, like the view out of the window, or that you pay more attention to the task at hand―getting the job! Either way, you'll feel less awkward.

       Talk it. If you keep telling yourself that you're not good at something, you’ll start to believe it. Next time you blame yourself, ask yourself whether you'd talk to your friends like that. So quit being negative and start recognizing and appreciating the things you are good at.

       Walk it. Great posture(姿勢) can signal great confidence. Walk with a purposeful stride(大踏步), walk with your back straight and with your head held up high!

Friendship with oneself is all important, because without it one cannot be friends with anyone else in the world.
We often focus on building relationships with others that we forget the essential first step: being friends of ourselves. That is the crucial first step if we are to have good relationships with others. How can we have good relationships with others if we don’t even have good relationship with ourselves?
Here are some tips:
1. Forgive yourself
You may have made those mistakes in the past, but is there anything you can do about them? I don’t think so, except learning from them. It’s true that you are not perfect, but neither is everybody else. It’s normal to make mistakes, so do yourself a favor by giving yourself forgiveness.
2. Focus on your strengths
Instead of focusing on your weaknesses, focus on your strengths. You always have some strengths which give you a unique combination nobody else have. Recognize your strengths and build your life around them.
3. Stop comparing yourself with others
You are unique. You can never be like other people, and neither can other people be like you. The way you measure your success is not determined by other people and what they achieve. Instead, it is determined by your own life purpose. You have everything you need to achieve your life purpose, so it’s useless to compare yourself with others.

l 以你自己為例,簡述你對金錢、快樂的看法;
l 你如何看待快樂沒痛苦才是真正的幸福的觀點;
l 你的身邊的同學如何對待快樂沒痛苦才是真正的幸福的觀點;
The way people hold the belief that a fun-filled, pain-free lifestyle equals happiness actually reduces their chances of ever obtaining real happiness. If fun and pleasure are equal to happiness,then pain must be equal to unhappiness. But in fact,the opposite is true: more often than not things that lead to happiness contain some pain.
As a result,many people avoid the very attempts that are the source of true happiness.They fear the pain inevitably (不可避免地) brought by such things as marriage,raising children,professional achievement, religious commitment, self-improvement.
Ask a bachelor why he resists marriage even though he finds dating to be less and less satisfying. If he is honest,he will tell you that he is afraid of making a commitment,for commitment is in fact quite painful. The single life is filled with fun, adventure and excitement.Marriage has such moments, but they are not its most distinguishing features.
Couples,with infant children, are lucky to get a whole night’s sleep of a three-day vacation. We don’t know any parent who would choose the word fun to describe raising children. But couples that decide not to have children ever know the joys of watching a child grow up or playing with a grandchild.

Understanding and accepting that true happiness has nothing to do with fun is one of the most liberating realizations. It liberates time: now we can devote more hours to activities that can really increase our happiness. It liberates money: buying that new car or those fancy clothes to increase our happiness now seems pointless. And it liberates us from envy: we now understand that all those who always have so much fun actually may not be happy at all.

Speaking Mandarin Chinese

In China, there are over 100 different dialects, which are so complicated that even people from neighboring villages may not understand each other. In the information age, such barrier of language must be removed by popularizing Mandarin because it inversely affects the quality and efficiency of oral communication.

We have many things to do in Mandarin popularization. First, we should carry out a mass education on the importance of speaking Mandarin to make everyone understand that it is his responsibility to do so. In the past, little progress has been made in isolated rural areas because the natives do not bother to take pains to learn to speak Mandarin. Next, speaking good Mandarin should be compulsory in classrooms, in public offices, in movies and TV programs in China. Finally, we should attach great importance to public education because China has large illiterate(文盲的)population. A poorly educated nation has no international reputation. Popularizing Mandarin is only the first step in changing China into a better-educated nation.

Popularizing Mandarin is of great importance because it may push up our economic growth, accelerate the development of science and technology, and promote the unification of China. With a population of over 1.3 billion people, it is not an easy task. But we must do it and do it effectively.

1)概括短文的內容要點,該部分的字數(shù)大約30字;

2) 就“如何出來好普通話與方言的關系”這個主題發(fā)表你的看法,至少包括以下的內容要點,該部分的字數(shù)大約120字;
