I have been very lucky to travel around the world while still young. According to my experiences, I advise every young person to get out of his hometown and see what’s out there. Here are three ways that traveling has changed me forever.

I grew up in a small town. 【1】. When you travel to other countries and see the amazing beauty of sunsets over seas, monkeys swinging through rainforests, you realize the world is-full of more beauty than you are able to see in a lifetime. But, you still want to try.

Everyone in my hometown looked and acted basically the same.【2】. I realized that my life could be enriched by developing friendships with people who didn’t look or act like me. Far from my hometown, I developed friendships with people who were nothing like me, but were exactly what I needed.【3】.

Traveling helps develop your interest in education

【4】. Just reading the stories in books seemed so boring to me. However, when I visited the Palace of Versailles in France and walked in the halls of the Louvre. I couldn’t help but have interest in history.【5】.

I went to London for a visit two weeks before. While walked in Hyde Park one morning, I found an ID card of a Frenchman on the ground. Now I’d like to tell you something that took place in my school yesterday. In the afternoon we had held a grown-up ceremony for our come 18-year-old birthday. At first we made an promise that as grown-up we should have a sense of duty for our society from now on. Then we expressed our thanks to our parents which had gone through hardships to bring us up and our teachers who had been educating us patient. My father and I stayed at the South Lake Hotel for a week when we visit Beijing last month. It is in the downtown area, but it is easy to go to anywhere from the hotel by public transport.
We lived in a comfortably double-room with a big bath. What I liked best were the free high-speed Internet connection in the room. I checked my email messages every day. I also shared for my friends many photos taking in Beijing. The food was wonderful with reasonable prices, and we enjoyed several local dish.
It is such great hotel that I would recommend it to any friend of me who is going to Beijing.
