Rose wanted a job. She went to many offices and she didn’t like any of them. One day she saw a board in an office read: “This office needs a typist whom can type 200 words a minute.” Rose was exciting. She then went to the manager’s office. Rose knocked at the door and the manager raised her head. “Do you need a typist?” asked Rose. “Yes!” he said. Rose clapped(拍) her hand and asked, “OK! How much will you pay for me every month?” The manager thought for a while and said, “I will pay you 77 dollars for first three months. Then I will pay you 30 dollars every month.” Rose smiled and answer, “Great! I will come and work here three months late.” The manager was speechless.

Dear Mum,
I’m considering work in Africa next year when I graduate. I will teach the English

received few education when they were young but they want our kids to be well-educated.
There I won’t get paid very much and I don’t mind. I’m not interesting in being rich.
I just want to do something what will help people who are not so luckily as me. When I
come home again, I’m going to get a job as a teacher. Whatever I do, I wanted a job where

The winter holiday is coming, which made me excited. I have been looking forward at relaxing myself. I’d like to go skating, climb mountains and see several movie. I think I can play the basketball with my classmates. How a wonderful time I’ll have during the winter holiday! However, my parents think different. They don’t want me go out. They are afraid I’ll be knocked down by a truck, fallen off a tree, or fight with others. Besides, they are afraid I will lose my way. I hate being treated like a bird keeping in a cage.
