My school holds a sports meeting in every year, which usually lasts three days. All of our students are fond of it because we don’t need to have classes. Hu Shuning, a dialect preservationist, said, “I think it is natural with a society’s development that a dominant language appears, but from a cultural aspect I think dialects are still important, because they reflect cultural diversity.”
