Do you like running? Do you sometimes go night running?

More and more people are trying night running. They try it for many reasons. First of all, many of them are too busy to go running in the day. And they think running at night makes them feel comfortable. Some say they can run faster at night. Other like it because they like running with friends in the evening and they want to talk about all the things of the day. They let go off(釋放)bad feelings at the same time.

Night running is good for you. It keeps you in good health. And it’s easy and cheap to run. You don’t need to buy any special sports equipment(設(shè)備). The roads are not so busy at night. It makes you feel free.

Where can you go night running? You can run in a park, in a school or just on a street. And you can run with your friends or family members.

Here are some tips for you when you want to try night running.

1. Wear a pair of sports shoes.

2. Listen to music if you think it’s not interesting to run.

3. Drink some water after running.

4. You shouldn’t run alone(單獨(dú)). It’s very important.

In my high school, we are required to take semesters of PE to graduate. We play real sports during PE class, such as basketball and volleyball. There are also some other typical American sports that we often play, such as kickball and dodgeball(躲避球).

I didn’t know the rules of kickballs and dodgeball when I first came to the US. The teacher asked me to sit on the sidelines and watch how other students played it in order to let me figure out the rules.

We also learn some useful life skills in PE. Last year, I learned how to do CPR(心肺復(fù)蘇), which is a life-saving skill. We were also taught how to give first aid to someone who is choking(窒息). These skills are a large part of the final grade for the PE class in my high school. Self-defense(自衛(wèi))is taught in PE class as sell. This includes some tae known do(跆拳道)and karate(空手道)skills, as well as Chinese kung fu. It is practical.

I prefer PE classes in the US to the ones in China. I think they are more fun and useful. What do you think?
