解答 Last Sunday,my parents and I went to the surburbs of Beijing and had a great time together.
To make it a green journey,we all agreed to cycle there. With everything ready,we set out.The warm sunshine and the fresh air put us all in a good mood.
Upon arrival,we got down to our preparation.Dad and I worked together to put up the tent, while Mum set out her homemade food.Everyone was enjoying the pleasant and relaxed  family atmosphere in the open air.
After the meal,we couldn't wait to fly kites.Running and laughing,we watched our kites of different shapes dancing high in the sky,Mum couldn't help cheering for us.What fun it was!
Dusk fell before we realized it.Seated together before leaving,we quietly watched the golden sunset, wishing to have more weekends like today.

4.The common cold is the world's most widespread illness, which is plagues(病疫) that flesh receives. The most widespread fallacy(謬誤) of all is that colds caused by cold. They are not. They are caused by viruses passing on from person to person. You catch a cold by coming into contact, directly or indirectly, with someone who already has one.If cold causes colds,it would be reasonable to expect the Eskimos to suffer from them forever. But they do not.And in isolated arctic regions explorers have reported being free from colds until coming into contact again with infected people from the outside world by way of packages and mail dropped from airplanes.During the First World War soldiers who spent long periods in the trenches(戰(zhàn)壕),cold and wet, showed no increased tendency to catch colds. In the Second World War prisoners at the notorious Auschwitz concentration camp(奧斯維辛集中營),naked and starving, were astonished to find that they seldom had colds. At the Common Cold Research Unit in England, volunteers took part in Experiments in which they gave themselves to the discomforts of being cold and wet for long stretches of time. After taking hot baths, they put on bathing suits, allowed themselves to be with cold water, and then stood about dripping wet in drafty(通風(fēng)良好的)room. Some wore wet socks all day while others exercised in the rain until close to exhaustion. Not one of the volunteers came down with a cold unless a cold virus was actually dropped in his nose. If,then, cold and wet have nothing to do with catching colds, why are they more frequent in the winter?Despite the most pains-taking research,no one has yet found the answer. One explanation offered by scientists is that people tend to stay together indoors more in cold weather than at other times, and this makes it easier for cold viruses to be passed on.No one has yet found a cure for the cold. There are drugs and pain suppressors(止痛片) such as aspirin, but all they do is relieve the symptoms.

14.As the pace of life continues to increase,we are fast losing the art of relaxation.Once you are in the habit of rushing through life,being on the go from morning till night,it is hard to slow down.But relaxation is essential for a healthy mind and body.
Stress is an natural part of everyday lift and there is no way to avoid it.In fact,it is not the bad thing it is often supposed to be.A certain amount of stress is vital to provide motivation and give purpose to life.It is only when the stress gets out of control that it can lead to poor performance and ill health.
The amount of stress a person can bear depends very much on the individual.Some people are not afraid of stress,and such characters are obviously prime material for managerial responsibilities.Others lose heart at the first signs of unusual difficulties.When exposed to stress,in whatever form,we react both chemically and physically.In fact we make choice between"fight"or"flight"and in more primitive days the choice made the difference between life or death.The crises we meet today are unlikely to be so extreme,but however little the stress,it involves the same response.It is when such a reaction lasts long,through continued exposure to stress,that health becomes endangered.Such serious conditions as high blood pressure and heart disease have established links with stress.Since we cannot remove stress from our lives(it would be unwise to do so even if we could),we need to find ways to deal with it.

46.People are finding less and less time for relaxing themselves becauseD.
A.they do not know how to enjoy themselves
B.they do not believe that relaxation is important for health
C.they are travelling fast all the time
D.they are becoming busier with their work
47.According to the writer,the most important character for a good manager is hisA.
A.not fearing stress
B.knowing the art of relaxation
C.high sense of responsibility
D.having control over performance
48.Which of the following statements is true?D
A.We can find some ways to avoid stress.
B.Stress is always harmful to people.
C.It is easy to change the habit of keeping oneself busy with work.
D.Different people can stand different amounts of stress.
49.In Paragraph 3,"such a reaction"refers toB.
A."making a choice between'flight'or'fight'"
B."reaction to stress both chemically and physically"
C."responding to crises quickly"
D."losing heart at the signs difficulties"
50.In the last sentence of the passage,"do so"refers toC.
A."expose ourselves to stress"
B."find ways to deal with stress"
C."remove stress from our lives"
D."established links between diseases and stress"
