Last Monday, realizing the new year of 2017 was coming, some of my classmates and I came up with an idea that we should hold a party to celebrate it. Without any delay we had a heated discussion about what to prepare and put down all the things needed on a list. Right after school, we headed to the nearby supermarket for shopping. Besides the decorations, we also bought some fruit and drinks.

The day before the party, we started to decorate the classroom. Stepan the bear first found fame in May 2016, when a series of photos of the tame animal were published. He was adopted by Russian couple Svetlana and Yuriy Panteleenko aged just three months after being discovered by hunters in the forest, having lost his mother.

Svetlana said, “Stepan likes nothing more than to cuddle up with us on the sofa at night while we're watching television. He absolutely loves people and is a really sociable bear despite what people might think, he is not aggressive at all. We have never been bitten by Stepan.”

Last Sunday, Li Yue and Zhang Hua went to Sunshine Nursing home, where they visited for the first time. On their arrive, they were warm welcomed by the elderly.
