Henry likes fish in the river near our house.Once Henry caught a big fish and he was very exciting! All the

5.a(chǎn)→the  前文已經(jīng)提及,后文再次提到,要用定冠詞the.
6.had→was  考查there be句型,there be句型表示"…
拉出來"要用pull sb.out (of)…

2.like to do/doing的區(qū)別:
   like to do sth.
   like doing sth.

2.Joseph Banks was born in 1743,the only son of a wealthy land-owning family. From an early age,he was interested in natural history, and in particular, botany. In the early 1760's he chose to make this dream to the full.In 1766 he travelled to Newfoundland and Labrador to collect plants, animals and rocks.
For him, joining Captain Cook's 1768 expedition to Tahiti was like a present-day scientist being given the chance of a trip to another planet,a chance to study new plants in unknown lands.
They made collections and observations in South America,Tahiti and New Zealand before reaching Australia. His major landfalls on the eastern coast of Australia were at Botany Bay and at the Endeavor River. He thought collection of plants was grown so large that it was necessary that some extraordinary care should be taken of them in case they should destroy. The plant material collected and sorted on the voyage was huge, with the herbarium specimens(標本)about 1300 new species.
After returning from this voyage,Banks travelled to Scotland,Wales,Holland and Iceland, collecting more and more curiosities.Among many other activities, without thinking running out of his money,he controlled the Royal Botanic Gardens,Kew and was a Trustee of the British Museum.Although Linneaus'suggestion of naming the new country of Australia"Banksia"was not accepted,Banks'name was bestowed(贈送)upon Australian plants and he made his mark upon Australian history in other ways, later he became the well-known authority (公認的權(quán)威)on matters relating to New South Wales. He had a great impact on the study of natural history in both Britain and Australia. He died in 1820.

As far as I (22)am concerned (concern),my  (23)suggestion(suggest) is that we should always have a notebook and a Chinese-English dictionary within easy reach.Whenever something beats us,we can first put it down in our notebook and then consult our dictionary.We can also turn to our English teacher for help,if necessary.In short,I believe that it is (24)of great use to keep a diary in English for (25)the development of our writing skills.

1.Qualities of being wise
Unless you think you're the smartest,who doesn't want to be smarter?(71)F
James Gardner has got me an answer on Quora about whether someone's smart or not. Here are the signs of smart people:
(72)CThere is the gift of a broad mind,constantly fed with the stimulant (興奮劑) of being interested in what everyone else is doing.
They probably do social media.Not always,but probably.It is not only another chance to listen,but one they use to ensure they can feed their brains with things they otherwise wouldn't have come across.

They never,ever,under any circumstances,make you look stupid,even though it would be easy to do so.They've learnt through bitter experience that the only thing that happens when you make someone look bad is you look bad yourself.

A.Now you should know who the smart people are.
B.Even when things go very badly wrong,they'll be smiling.
C.They know lots of things other than what they're specialized in.
D.However,being smart is not easy,because one has to possess lots of qualities.
E.They're not threatened because they know that smartness is working together.
F.Of course I want to be smarter too,so I try to find out who is the real smart guy that maybe I can learn from.
