The Basic Survival Skills

Learning survival skills is an ongoing process（過程）that will last for your entire life. Because each situation has its particular requirements, there is always more to learn and experience. 【1】

Yesterday I was gone home by the bus and my father was going to pick me up at the station. On the bus, I see a young woman with several bags of heavier books get on. I wanted to offer her my seat, and I didn’t. In my surprise, she and I got off at the same stations later. After a short conversation, I learned she had to walk a long way home.
